Washington Borough usually mails an estimated 3rd quarter tax bill in June. These estimated tax bills are the only bill you will receive for the 3rd quarter and should be paid within 10 days of August 1 to avoid interest. The final tax bills are then mailed by the end of September. The final bill includes the final two quarters of the year and the first two quarters of the following year. There will be a note on the 3rd quarter showing if you made a payment and the balance after that payment was applied.

Added Assessment tax bills are mailed out in October and are due on the 1st of November. You should have received a letter from the Tax Assessor explaining the assessment. Most major improvements to your property are subject to Added Assessments. Please make sure that you have all building permits closed out as soon as your project has been completed.

If you have recently purchased a home in Washington Borough and you do not have the tax bill, please contact our office to obtain a copy.
