General Duties
The Borough operates under the council-manager form of government. The manager serves as the chief executive and administrative officer of the Borough. The manager
- directs and supervises all municipal departments
- approves all bills and vouchers for payment
- serves as purchasing agent and chief personnel officer
- prepares the budget for council approval
- represents the municipality in relationships with other political subdivisions
- is responsible for negotiating contracts and agreements, subject to council approval.
