How to Apply
Applications must be submitted to the Recreation Department or completed online.
Applications will not be accepted at the pool.

All applications must be signed by an adult family member (18 years or older).

Membership Eligibility

Resident Memberships are available to individuals who have lived within the Borough of Washington for more than six months during the previous year.

All others will be charged non-resident rates.

Monthly Memberships are available for July or August. Please note: discounts do not apply to monthly memberships.

Due to increased costs, Senior Memberships now require payment.

Discounts

Two discounts are available for regular season memberships:

  • Early Bird Discount – Available through May 31 or for applications postmarked by May 31.

  • $10 Military Discount – Available to active service members and veterans.

  • To receive the Military Discount, you must provide a copy of one of the following:

    • Current Military ID

    • DD214 discharge form

    • VA card

  • If applying online, email proof to recsecretary@washingtonboro-nj.org. Military members must be listed on the application.

    The Military Discount may be combined with:

    • The Early Bird Discount

    • The half-price-after-July-31 offer

  • Both Early Bird and Military discounts apply to seasonal memberships (resident and non-resident) and may be combined.

    Membership Policies

    • Memberships are non-refundable once the season begins or once a monthly membership starts.

    • Membership tags will be available at the pool front desk 2–3 business days after your application is received.

    • A payment receipt from the Recreation Secretary at Borough Hall may be shown at the front desk for entry until tags are ready.

    • Email confirmation is not considered a receipt.

    • Tags will be deactivated at the end of your membership.

    • Tags must be returned by October 1 to avoid a $7 per tag non-return fee.

    • Lost or damaged tags will incur a $12 replacement fee.

  • Any misrepresentation on the application or misuse of membership privileges will result in forfeiture of membership. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Providing false information

    • Listing ineligible individuals as family members

    • Violating pool rules

    • Lending membership cards to others

  • Family Membership Regulations

    Family memberships are limited to immediate family members only (up to five members) living in the same household. This includes:

    • An adult couple, single parent, or legal guardian

    • Children living in the household who are under 18

    • Children over 18 who are full-time college or trade school students

  • Members age 18 or older must provide proof of full-time enrollment in college or trade school.

  • If applying online, email proof to recsecretary@washingtonboro-nj.org

  • If mailing or dropping off your application, include proof of enrollment.

  • Individuals 18 or older who are not full-time students must apply for an individual membership

  • Additional family members (child or senior citizen) are $25 each.

  • Membership Categories

    • Individual: Adult under age 55

    • Senior Citizen: Age 55 or older as of 6/1/26 (proof of age may be required)

    • Child: Ages 4–17

    • Children age 3 and under are free with a paying adult
